Investments into sustainable mobility will help us reach the goals set in climate policies. What is more important, however, is that walking, cycling, or taking public transport are much healthier, fun, and cheap transport modes than using a private car. Before I started at Hendrikson & Ko, I studied and worked in the Netherlands for ten years. There I experienced how comfortable it is to live in an environment where cycling is safe and taking the train is a common habit. I earned my MSc in Spatial Planning in the Netherlands and gained experience in projects about cycling to school, multimodal travel, and mobility hubs.
Now, back in Estonia, I focus on carrying out different mobility studies and help our clients in carrying out sustainable mobility projects. This way we will take steps to create a more liveable living environment, where everyone can reach their destinations independently and according to their means.
