Estonian Association of Spatial Planners
Estonian Association of Spatial Planners is Estonia’s leading organization in the field of spatial planning. The mission of the Association is elaboration and dissemination of best planning practice, development of cooperation between planning specialists by creating a regular communication platform, systematisation of planning-related information, the Association is also taking part in elaborating legal acts.
Estonian Association of Impact Assessment
Estonian Association of Impact Assessment was created in 2012 to join experts, who according to Estonian legislation, have the right to act as experts in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEA). The general purpose of the Association is to promote the knowledge and to improve the system for impact assessment in Estonia.
Estonian Green Building Council
The Estonian Green Building Council (GBC) is the leading organization of sustainable development in Estonia. The main purpose of the organization is to promote the highest quality levels in planning, design, construction and operation for energy and real estate. Estonian GBC is a member of the World Green Building Council network, which has members in over 100 countries, all over the world. Hendrikson & Ko was one of the first companies to join the Estonian Green Building council in 2013.
Estonian Association for Environmental Management
The Estonian Association for Environmental Management was founded in April 21, 2003. It is a non-profit organization, which brings together enterprises, organizations and individuals, who are interested in improving environmental performance related to corporate management. The main objective of the Association is to bring together enterprises, organizations and individuals, who need help, support and information related to corporate environmental management for solving environmental problems, reducing impact to the environment and ensuring sustainable development of the society. The Association would like to act as moderator between enterprises and state institutions and the whole society while representing and protecting its members interests in environmental issues.
International Association for Impact Assessment (IAIA)
IAIA is the International Association for Impact Assessment, the leading global network on best practice in the use of impact assessment for informed decision making regarding policies, programs, plans, and projects. The mission of IAIA is to provide the international forum for advancing innovation and communication of best practice in all forms of impact assessment so as to further the development of local, regional, and global capacity in impact assessment.
