Environmental Audit Go Back
An environmental audit is an assessment of the extent to which an organization is observing practices which minimize harm to the environment. Suggestions are made in the process of environmental impact assessment and strategic environmental assessment to prevent or mitigate significant environmental impacts and to establish environmental monitoring terms. It is obligatory for the developer to follow the rules and monitoring terms set by the Estonian Environmental Board. We offer supervision for those and other cases and carry out additional surveys and modelling (if needed).
In a case of bigger constructions, it is common practice internationally and domestically to involve an environmental expert to the process. Hendrikson & Ko has great experience providing environmental services in construction supervision stage. For example, we have implemented environmental supervision in road constructions in Azerbaijan and Oman.
